Saturdays, saturdays, saturdays!

Oh gosh, Nic is suuuch a bad girl. *sticks tongue*

Watched "Taurus Stunts Movie Award 2007" 2 days back. Awesome. I think the way they presented the show, was really fresh & cool. Had me laughing away for quite some time. Ahahaha. The Rock should have gone into showbiz a long time ago. Anyway, as the title says it, this award presentation is given to those working behind the scenes. Those whose names you've never heard or even seen before. They're the group of stun-man/women, the people who coordinates the fight scenes, the people who choreograph the action. And I think that's really cool, you know. 'Cos they deserve it. They're (the stunts people) the ones who risk their lives all the time just for psychotic people (who looks very much like you & me) who loves to watch people kill themselves, who try to chop off each other's head, who have people chasing after to kill them while they run & basically, just the killings. LOL.

And I've decided! I shall either be a car mechanist, like those in the show "Pimp My Ride", and set up my own shop. Be the first in Singapore to do that! Hmph. Or I can always become a stunt-man if that fails! Haha!

Oh well, anyways, blocks are almost over soon. Next week will be the last 2 Physics Paper. Then. The fun time in school will be all over. Sigh~ But nevertheless, my Saturdays are literally packed for this month! And almost forgot, I've still got to return to my Lion Dance Troupe.

Went to some community centre today with Keith & Jerome & Jasmine. Supposed to go there and study? But I ended up stoning & playing. *sticks tongue* But it's still cool hanging out with 'em. Damn. I HAVE to go back to gym someday. Damn.

Oh, today's paper. Physics turned out surprisingly to be an easy paper. That is, if I'd studied, which I totally did not. Honest. Then there was Geography. Gosh. People was spending their time rushing their answers. Me? I was counting the time away. Counting down to the end of the paper. Yeah... Tell me 'bout it. I'm dead. As usual.

Strange, today while bathing, I reflected on some stuff. Or was I? 'Cos if I did, then I don't remember a thing that i reflected on. Never mind, I just love watching "Punk'd". It's like one of the best shows to do with celebs. Muahahaha. I love watching "Yo Mama" too. For those who have no idea what this show is, it's basically 'bout people hailing insults at each other, hailing insults 'bout the opponents Mama. Yea... Absolutely cool... Heheheh... Right, shall get back to trying to study now. I've realised, with exams around, I seems to be using the computer more than ever. Gosh.

Monday Blues

Came back home to switch on the tee-vee. Just happened to catch this show on Celestial Movie (Cable Channel 61). It's called "伴我同行" or "One of the Lucky Ones" in English. Basically, it's about this girl called 程文辉(chen wen hui) who turned blind at 6months old due to some medicine. Well, so from then on she was blind and was taken care of by an old maid, 和姐(he jie), serving the house. People in her town looked down on her & her granny intends to sell her off 'cos she was like a burden & disgrace to them. But thanks to the maid, that didn't happened. This girl here, she was also very interested in studying (like any of us will). So, one thing led to another and she began studying at a school nearby. Times were bad, her father was almost jobless & there was civil war happening. But the maid took out her savings to let her study. So touching. Anyway, soon, the family left the town due to war and went to Hong Kong. Blah blah blah, times were tough, everyone worked, her sister died, the maid didn't get paid (she offered not to) and through some miracle, she got a scholarship to study overseas in US (US was the country offering studies for the blind). So, it's 'bout this girl who overcame hardships & became the first ever visually impaired Chinese girl to complete a University Degree.

It's a rather old movie, the pictures tell it, I was surprised that I was watching it myself. But it's a good show, I supposed. Very sad & touching moments here & there. Oh, by the way, the story is real, alright. It's a true life story. Supposedly, she retired in L.A. in the year 1989, so I think she's still alive. But very old if she is. I supposed that's what made me continue watching it.

So, it's blocks now. But I find myself blogging more than ever. Watching tee-vee some more. I'm digging my own grave. And I've still got Geog Paper 1 & Physics Paper 3 tomorrow. Damn it's 1600 and I've not started yet. Argh. I so hate myself.

I'm still hating myself just so to let you know... But still, oh wells...

Sigh

So, yesterday went to NYP for dance once more. I suppose I'll be visiting there for quite a period of time. Heheh. Got partnered with a girl called Marie this time. Guess what? She's 17. And I thought that she was 18 or 19, *embarrassed*, cos she just looked so mature. Alright, never mind that. What I'm trying to say was that there were a lot more 17s than I knew. *faint*

Also, found out that my lion dance troupe is having it's 40th Anniversary this year. Supposed to perform something at the end of the year. I don't mind it. Just that... just that... there's the point about studies. Sigh~

Today, went to East Coast Park with my mum, along with the community. Supposedly some community event actually. So, went there, walked, criticised the aunties & ah-mas for their behavior. Then blah blah blah for the rest of the day. Pretty boring if I may say so. Dang, tomorrow. School's reopening with blocks for 2 weeks. I'm dead. For sure. It's a fact. Sigh~ sigh~ SIGH~ I can't take this anymore...

Ululation & Jeremiad

Damn... I know very extremely well that I shouldn't be doing this, but I still am. [school] SUCKS. Big Time.

Just came back from dinner at the opposite coffee shop not long ago, with an ice-cream in mouth. Then bro & I settled down in front of the computer. He went to check out his school's website after glancing through my school's website. Damn, damn, damn. At this rate, I rather be private-tutored. Hmph. His school's is like so FULL of life! Alright, I know there's this standard GAP between the 2 colleges, but is there a need for this GAP in culture & life?! ARRGH. I suppose I'll never get through this. I just can't stand it. It's not I'm complaining about my friends or what, but the school life is really like crap.

Really, truthfully, I don't mind slogging for my studies if there's like a lot school life (such that after an event is over, another is coming up next). At least, that's what I'm used to.

Alright, enough about the school, let's talk about the overseas trips. Besides the standard China exchange programme, they go to places like New Zealand. Educational overseas trip? How 'bout starting with Tokyo, Japan. Mt Fuji, Sony Corporation, Tokyo Disneyland as well as Studio Ghibli, one of the key anime studios. Then, Shibuya. Then there's Silicon Valley. Damn it. Bloody Hell.

If that weren't enough for you, then there's the Prom. They have a mini-orchestra (or whatever you call that), performing LIVE, for bloody sake! Oh... I can't go on anymore than this. I fear I'll get a heart-seizure if I do.

Not to offend anyone in the college I'm studying in, but this is what & how I see it. Sorry, but I need my life to be exciting, colourful, like an adrenaline rush. That's how I like to live life. You only get one shot at life. Live it. They always say.

Sigh~ Thankfully, I've still got all my buddies in college, whose in the same shit as me. Not that I'm laughing 'cos you're in the position, but 'cos you- forget it, it's hard to put it in a politically correct statement. But you should know what I mean. Heh. Well, I suppose that's about it...

Oh, after viewing through this post, I really must give a BIG THANKS to all my buddies in the college. Heheh..

Working Class

If I touch a burning candle I can feel no pain
If you cut me with a knife it's still the same
And I know her heart is beating
And I know that I am dead
Yet the pain here that I feel
Try & tell me it's not real
For it seems that I still have a tear to shed

Alright, Friday was well spent with the ODAC usuals (meaning Meixing, Jerome, Shermin, Jasmine & Keith). Well, basically, it was movie, eat, chill. Alright, maybe it wasn't so much of a chilling session, but we still had some bit of fun. Even though we're from different class & all, but I think that we're closer than a class could be. Haha. Whatever am I talking about? Haha. *smile* Hmmm... Oh, the funny thing, we actually went to Fullerton Hotel, 'cos us being sua-ku-ded teenage Singaporeans have never been there before. But I must say, it was really a posh place. Headed home at 2100+.

Saturday, morning had to wake up early. Headed over to Nanyang Poly. Unofficially starting Latin now. Damn, it's tough. Switching from Standard (that's what they call it, though I name it otherwise) to Latin. *Gasp* Like the movements and everything was absolutely different. But it was kind of nerve-wrecking for me. Like I was nervous, embarrass, anxious. Gosh. They've already got the basics with 3 lessons & a few more practices. Me? My first time there, doing Latin. Like: "ARRGH"

So, being new there, they intro-ded me. "So, for today, we have a new guy among us, a dance associate from [school] who's like..." Okay, I shalt not continue. Far too *ahem* Anyway, as I've said, Latin is difficult. It's killing me.

So, for the afternoon, joined my bro & his girl to Lasialle for the graduates' project. Damn. Some of them were really wicked. Found out new form of body art from there too. It's called "Sacrificial" or something along those line, if I remember correctly.

Night time, joined Muggers for dinner. Thinking back, it's really curious as to how we even got together. Lulu, Valerie, Audrey, YuTing, SiewHoon... And to think that we're now sharing those stuff we keep under our bed, in our closet, locked being hard covers & such during our secondary school years. Sigh~ Those were THE days.

Well, how ironic now. To think that I used to hate dance. Now, I'm taking dance to a stage I never thought I would be at. Even now, I'm like watching a dance show. Hmph. Thankfully, I still have my sports background to make up for this, seemingly, erm... I-don't-know-what-thing. Shan't say anything. So, Friday & Saturday was really enjoyable, considering that I'd spent time with groups of friends that I so love. *BIG SMILE*

Sometimes, it's good & fun to dress up a little bit. Hehehz.

If I touch a burning candle I can feel no pain
In the ice or in the sun it's all the same
Yet I feel my heart is aching
Though it doesn't beat it's breaking
And the pain here that I feel
Try & tell me it's not real
I know that I am dead
Yet it seems that I still have some tears to shed

So Lazy

Damn... Feeling so lazy to blog now... But so much has happened, so well, there's nothing i can do about it. Last week, I think it was a Wednesday, went out with Jasmine, Jerome, Hazel, Weihan, Terence to Northpoint. We had dinner. Then went off to get our supplies for the race this coming Sunday, which was yesterday. Then something funny happened. We saw someone at the Cold Storage. Must had scared Hazel out of life. Then Jasmine still go & call the fellow... Hahaha.

Friday, went for my NS Medical Screening. Quite an experience. ENT station, got my blood drawn... Eh... 3times? Bloody hell, the medic like don't know how to draw blood one. Had to go fill up 2 tubes with my blood, then loss of blood from my right arm too... I think I still can see the needle hole dude... And the dentist, she was hot. *sticks tongue* Well, a lot more happened, but I don't really remembered anything else at the moment. Hahahaha.

So, ATC 2007. Well, I think I'll cut it short. In all, it was tiring, painful & fun. Now, I know how Lara Croft would actually feel. LOL. There was the kayaking, tunneling, river-crossing, quite some running, climbing, sliding, falling, some more running, biking & some more la... Haiyo~ I really too lazy to go on le... Shall do this some other time, when I have the mood. Hahaha.

Oh yea, went to Jerome's house after ATC, then to IKEA. Note to self.

星期日, 六月 03, 2007

Alright, so where was I? (I'm still feeling a bit worn out) Oh right, the train-thingy. Rented bikes upon reaching Sentosa. It was fun... =P Somemore, it was my first time on a double-those-kind-of-bike. I don't know, but seemed kinda difficult. Lolx. So, I was with Lulu, Yuting was with Audrey & SiewHoon with Vosh. Seriously, I think Audrey was the most senang fella around. Don't have to do anything.

Anyway, cycled back to our chalet, the one we used during our last year together as a class. Sigh~ We were planning to visit the old old house we found, but it ended up being demolished. So sad... But still, there was a bit of crazy camera-ing by us. Haha. After that, went back to return the bikes. Returning, me & Lulu got a on a detour. Haha. Sped down some slope all the way to the bottom, ending up having to cycle the whole length of both beach before returning to the bike shop. But it was fun going down. So, doesn't matter. *smile* Then, had some Coffee Bean. (Ultimate is the best!) Something funny happened. The cashier guy was so spontaneous, bull-shitting with anyone worth bull-shitting with. Haha. 'Cos I was wearing this straw hat, which incidentally shaped like Rocky Balboa's that black hat, he decided to name me Rocky. And the receipt did turn out to be "Rocky". Haha. So fun. Next time, I think I will do the same. Heh.

After that, went to the sky ride! It was so fun... You get to touch the tree tops with your feet! Hahaha. Before that, there were escalator shots. Then Yuting went to sit on a fountain and looked as if like he's pee-ing. Then the museum there, with the car. I tell you, we ended up behaving like tourist kids. But it was FUN. Anything with 'em guys is fun. Even studying! (Okay^... That was quite random...) And did I mention we were more tourist like than the tourist? We actually asked the tourists to help us take photos lar! OMG. Okay, enough. So, the sky ride. Audrey was petrified. Haha. Didn't even hear her scream. *sticks tongue* And the photo taken of 'em exiting the ride, she was the first & the quickest to get off. Ahahaha.

So, after all that excitement, had a little relaxing time, walking on the beach. Took some photos (as usual) & Audrey refused to cross the bridge with us. And we were talking 'bout getting a Caucasian young boy to persuade her to come. Well, after all that, a bit of shots & we headed back to mainland to grab some grub. Pasta. Neat. Saw this Hello Kitty & Black Dude guitar. No comments. Just looked. New.

Train ride home. Tired, exhausted. Audrey & Valerie were like laughing hysterically on the train, while they were looking at the photos. Haha.

Well, that's bout it, I supposed. I'm sure everyone had FUN. I sure did. It was such an exciting day. And well, Happy Birthday Siew Hoon! Hope that you really enjoyed the day.

Saturdays are Happy Days

Whoa... Saturday. Totally shagged. Wasted. Exhausted. Tired. And I've still got class tomorrow. Like, this sucks.

Well, so Saturday. We(meaning Vosh, Aud, Lulu, Yuting) celebrated SiewHoon's Birthday for her! Went to Sentosa. Seriously, of all the times I've been to Sentosa, this is the time where I've "explored" so much things on the island. (I think I'm getting overly tired. I can't seem to recall what happened!) So, we started out with the cake & the present. I seriously think that we bunch of people, have a new method for eating cakes. It saves the hassle & trouble of cutting & distributing actually. Lolx. Anyway, I think that SiewHoon looks absolutely gorgeous in the present. The look just kills. Hahaha. Then after which, we took the train-thingy over to the isle. Seriously, they should place windows at the front of the train, such that people can look out in front, instead of from the sides.

Okay... I think I should stop here for tonight. As much as I want to continue, I can't. It's only 2340, and I already feel like dying. Literally dozing off as I type... ... ... By the way, this is my 100th post. Erm... Yayness?

You guys Rocks

星期五, 六月 01, 2007

Is it me, or is it just me? I think it's still me. I've no idea why, but recent weeks, neck has been aching like crap, shoulder tired & all tensed, then my back... It's like...signs of aging! *gasps* (C'mon... Like I'm only 18?!) Who am I kidding. Perhaps. Just perhaps. It's something I do not like to address. (That's call escapism, you know...) Like, who would care about such things. (You know you do...) Sigh... Should stop the voices inside my head now.

Anyway, just suddenly thought of something. Tiramisu. Birthday Card. Damn. I'm supposed to be doing up a birthday card, for like... erm... tomorrow? Luckily, I'm blogging now. Else. I've would really have forgotten all about it.

Now, to get back to what I'm supposed to be actually doing, just a quick outline of what I've done. Just came back home from shopping. Yes. Shopping. Shopping for gifts (though how I wish I was shopping for myself). Was quite some laughter & smiles. Audrey was like some...eh... lunatic. Lol. Sadly, still am going back to school for 2 weeks, in spite of it being holidays now. It's sickening. Yups. But, oh well...

Jiexi, don't worry if you can't swim. We'll let you drown. *Oops* Nah... Just kidding. We'll have a nice dinosaur float for you. *smile* And Hazel, don't worry, it fits. Just nice, if I may say. Haha.
