Long Weekend

Oh right... That was one hell of a long weekend. Hahs! But Friday was spent all on Mid-Course Gathering. Still, it's even better than staying in camp. *smiles*

Okay, so basically, played some treasure hunt game thingy. Played some games, had dinner & that 'bout concludes the gathering.

Post-gathering activity? Headed to some Coffee Club with Tushan, Jason, Oliver, Mark & Alvin. Tehn had dinner/supper (dinner at the gathering wasn't really that filling). After that, went on to Geylang to look for desserts. And a few sightseeing. *sticks tongue*

Saturday, didn't really do much. Went out for lunch, did a little neighborhood-shopping. Yup. Went to Arena at night for the NUS Business School pageant event. Supposedly, SMU, NTU & some Union Camp were also having such event. Turned out Nicole & Daphne were all in different places. LOL.

Anyway, still managed to find familiar faces around. There was Yingxian, Weixin & Carena. Oh, saw Jean too! Though it was at The Central that I saw her.

And did I mention that it was my first time to club? Hahaha. Yup, it was. My friends were kind of crazy. 2 bottles of Chivas. I downed almost half a bottle. Almost got wasted. Thankfully, still able to walk straight & think straight with a little effort. Whew~

Clubbing, I think I won't be doing it much, I believe. Bad for health, bad for pocket too. Maybe will only go occasionally. Like for events or socializing. Yeah...

Okay, so got home at 0500+++. Sunday, slacked the whole day. Had quite a terrible hangover. Then Monday, this, now, here. That should be about all. Hahaha.

NDP 2008

Alright. This week to come, I don't think it'll be a very fun or even nice time. But oh well, what has to come, must come. And I'll have to face it.

Booked out Friday night. Hop over to Northpoint to find it under renovation. Damn. So, headed home unaccomplished.

Saturday, went to watch NDP with Daphne. Say, this year's performance... Better than last year? I feel that way. At least there isn't that funny-looking fire/fish-looking dude narrating. Fireworks were awesome, though there wasn't as much as last year's.

On the way there, actually, when just outside the platform, saw my 大哥. What a coincidence! Hahaha. Looks like he had some business going on there. Still could remember that I saw Jasmine during last year's NDP. *laughs*

Oh, also felt that this year's parade, like shorter like that. At least it feels shorter. Alright, had enough of typing everything out already. I believe photos would do more talking than saying it all out. BUT. Photos shall be up another day. Feeling much too lazy to do the photos right now, you know, with the weather and all... Ahhh~ Feeling so sleepy and lethargic as well... Just. Don't. Feel. Like. Doing. Nothing. Much...

After the parade, headed to Marina Square for dinner. Never ever saw Marina Square that crowded before. Flooded by red. All the eateries were overflowing too. In the end, managed to get a table at Jack's Place.

Oh, oh. I love the hand thingy they gave out with the bag. Hahaha. And something really hilarious happened on our way there, inside Marina Square. Apparently, there was this bridal exhibition going on. Like c'mon, do we look THAT old? Hahaha.

ARGH!!! How I wish I can just go on ranting & complaining & grumbling & whine 'bout "Activation Period". Irritating. Like who the bloody hell in the world would rough handle their ziploc bags which contain their clothes and such. It's absolutely ridiculous! AHHH!!!

There's just too many unreasonable stuff. So stupid & idiotic. It's just... I don't know, brainless gimmick. Doing things for the sake of doing things.

Sigh~ Life as a cadet trainee, put it bluntly, just sucks. Plainly. Though there may be good times (like my current wing), still, somethings they decide to do are...

Then again, I can 'feedback' to the appointment holders, but that'll only make their life more difficult than it already is. Better to keep mouth shut. I don't know... They always say as Officers to be, we should give suggestion & such as how to make things better & such. Then again, some things are just bloody going thru' motion. Defeats any purpose. Bloody waste of resources & time. Still, if we do anything, it still... you know.

Ah... Whatever. This will take forever.
