Slackers Week

Right... So, last week was basically a tough week. Imagine, a 200kg load carried by 8men. It's not easy, I'm telling you. But it was a rather fun experience. Hee~

Oops. Sorry, didn't realised I had already mentioned last week. Damn. My memory's really failing me now.

So, back to track, I'm pretty much use to my camp now. In fact, thinking it's quite enjoyable. Actually, the camp's really a very very scenic place. You can even see stars at night. And seriously, it's not like those you see in Singapore. It can be considered starry, since I couldn't count the exact number of stars 'cos there's like too many. Hahaha.

Anyway, went to chiong with Yuting, Alex, Hazel & Nicole on Saturday. Had dinner at first at Fish Market @ Central. Then headed to Dbl O. It was Retro Night, and surprisingly, the music was still quite alright, I suppose. Not like the previous week that I went. Yea.

So, got home, day after, suppose to go celebrate ShiHui's Birthday at Settlers' Cafe. Unfortunately, woke up late. And... yeah, missed it. Felt so guilty. Hmmm... Sorry guys (∓ girls).

Tomorrow's Hari Raya. So, able to book out today. Awesome huh? Furthermore, this whole week is SUPER slack. Neat.

Oh, saw quite a number of familiar faces in camp. Like, there's 6 people in there I know now. Hahaha.

Contented

As I thought... Staying in that place... Really kind of sucks at times. No more beauty sleep. Saying hi to more pimples now. Sian. And 'cos of that, didn't manage to do my 12km route-march on Friday. It's now being postphoned to next Tuesday. Sickening.

Over the course of last week, kind of a tough week. 3 to 4 hours of sleep daily, carrying heavy shit-load of stores, getting burnt by the sun. Sigh~ Although there are the fun moments, but still, can't wait for NS to be over soon.

So, Friday, booked out. Went to DBL 0, meeting up camp-mates, as well as Yuting, Carena & Alex mainly. That place... isn't really my kind of place I guess. Hah. Seriously, I don't think I should have gone at all. So tired after that. Konked out on the bus larr...

Saturday, was a weekend well spent. Went out to celebrate Audrey's Birthday at K-Box, Marina Sq. It was kinda crazy. After that, she went to grab some goods at some-place-I-don't-know-what-it's-called, then dined at LJS. Headed to Starbucks & relaxed there. Chatted for quite some time. Okay, actually, it was quite a long time. Hahs.

Actually, had intended to leave at 2300, but someone wanted to take NR home, so, oh wells. Reached home at 0130.

Ahh~ This is the kind of moments that I'll enjoy. Sitting down at one corner, idling the time away with friends. Hmmm... Oh, and re-collecting the gay things we did together. HAHAHA. That was a funny one. And me & sista have decided on Project: A0 after the A's. Can't wait. That's when the full group will be free again, when all of us can gather without much worries in our heads.

Silent Hill: Reality

Oh man... Just when I thought I could have a better life in NS, it turns out worst? Hmmm... Training with a bunch of corporals. With only a few cadets. It's kind of scary, seriously. Especially when you know for sure you'll get some sort of appointment. Appointment + cadet = shitty days. It's like they give you the appointment, expecting you to complete tasks & such, but the they don't give you the power. Kind of ironic.

Anyway, my new camp sucks. It's like... Silent Hill, Singapore style. Gosh. The place gives one the creeps.

Weekends. Feeling so tired. Not getting enough sleep during weekdays. Sigh~

Yesterday, spent a whole day doing 'volunteer work'. Basically, I was the camera-man & odd-job-man for the day. Porridge distrubtion, Mid-Autumn Festival Celebration. Community events. Managed to get home at 2300+. Wasn't really willing to do so much actually. But I guess it wasn't so bad after all. Especially when you get to see cute children. Really, some of the kids are just really adorable. Hahaha. And no. I'm no pedophile.

Looking forward to next weekend. As well as the one after.

Oops. Forgot to add in last night. That last week, day after celebration of Agnes's Birthday (think so), went to meet up with Mingjie, Kristelle, Amy & Nicole. (Photos, don't have, check out Kristelle's space) And according to her, it's already been almost 3 years since we met & knew each other. Time really flies huh. And I've already like known Nicole ever since Sec1. *gasps* And gosh, not to forget my primary school mates. OMG.

When you're living in the present, it's kind of hard to know the time that you & your mates have already known each other for so long. Taking me, Valerie, Yuting, Siewhoon, Lulu & of course Audrey, for example. Like, we're bound to meet up some time or another, every now & then. But do we ever realised the time that we've known each other? Not me, for sure. *laughs* Time really flies.

So, this amount of little space here, is dedicated to all my friends out there. To honour our time spent together. To honour our friendship that has lasted till now & till the day that I (or you) *sticks tongue* die. (Still years to come)

Talking about friends, I seem to have a missing friend as of right now. The name's Joseph, he lives within walking proximity distance of me, but remains uncontactable. Anyone knows what he's doing now? How is he? Really, he's a really great buddy I'll never forget. Those days in Secondary School. *laughs heartily* Really, those were the days.

Alright~ Finally, into the speciailisation phase of my training now. Fianlly. Having quite a few days of break before beginning the next phase. How awesome is that?

Anyway, last week, just ended an exercise. And my right hand is like totally multilated now. Mosquitoes bite like they've never bit before. Hmph. But, it's still ain't as bad as the one I got from Brunei.

Last week, vaguely remembered what I did. Could remember gathering with Curina, Xinyi, Shihui, Susannna, Lionel & Martin. In celebration for Xinyi's birthday. Met Chengyi at our destination too. Quite a surprised. He was with his girl. Heehee

Oh yea~ almost forgot. Managed to link up with 210 people on one of the days. Book out day somemore. Saw Xuanyi, Nicholas, Soonkuey, Michelle, Shengyu, Roger, Samuel, Kuoen, Pearl & of course Agnestin Wongso. Was celebrating her birthday. At Fish & Co. in Suntec. Seriously, next time I go out to town, I should get myself a guide. Being stuck in camp, not going out for eons, has made me like - forgot where everything is. Sigh~

So, was really glad that I got to meet up with them. Hehz.

So, will be free till next Tuesday. Am going to enjoy myself during this short break that I have rght now.
